Roles and permissions
Every member of a Workspace holds one of five roles.
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Can see Sites, results, reports and activity, but cannot run checks or change anything |
| Editor | Can add and edit Sites, run checks and crawls, edit Workbench drafts and generate reports |
| Reviewer | Can approve or reject Workbench drafts, but cannot edit them |
| Publisher | Can publish approved work, such as deploying a generated sitemap, but cannot approve or edit it |
| Admin | Full control, including team management, Site removal and Workspace settings |
Roles are per Workspace. The same person can be an admin in one Workspace and a viewer in another.

A role grants the ability to attempt an action. Some actions are also gated by plan, for example draft editing on Pro and above. See Plan comparison.
Transferring Workspace ownership between members is not a supported action. Ask support@flowpane.com if you need it.
