ads.txt check details

The current assessor preserves authored records, variables, comments, supported extensions and standard line endings while checking:

  • exact three/four-field seller-record syntax, domains, publisher IDs and DIRECT/RESELLER values;
  • ads.txt 1.1 variables, including multiple occurrences and scope rules;
  • the official no-seller placeholder;
  • malformed lines, duplicate record identities, relationship conflicts and duplicate manager scopes; and
  • optional OwnerDomain/Contact guidance without inventing either value.

An empty/HTML response or a file with no authorised seller record scores 0 under explicit assessor overrides. Warnings and Information are score-neutral; Issues and Recommendations deduct only when their score treatment says so. Flowpane does not perform sellers.json/app-ads.txt reconciliation or verify the publisher's commercial relationships externally.
