Creating your account

New accounts are created with a magic link sent to your email. Once your account exists you can also set a password and sign in with either method. Both live on the same sign-in page at app.flowpane.com.

  1. Go to app.flowpane.com. The Magic link tab is selected by default.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Click Continue with email.
  4. Open the email from Flowpane and click the link. You are signed in and, for a new account, taken to the onboarding wizard.

Magic links expire after one hour and can be used once. If the link has expired, request a new one from the sign-in page.

Signing in with a password

The Password tab signs in an existing account that has a password set. It does not create accounts; use a magic link for your first sign-in.

  1. Switch to the Password tab.
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. Click Sign in.

If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot password?, enter your email and click Send reset link. The email takes you to a page where you choose a new one.

Setting a password

After signing in with a magic link:

  1. Go to Settings → Security.
  2. Under Password, enter and confirm your new password.
  3. Click Save.

Your password must have:

  • at least 8 characters
  • at least one uppercase letter
  • at least one lowercase letter
  • at least one character that is not a letter (a number, symbol or space)

A strength meter shows how strong your password is as you type.

After signing up

Your first sign-in takes you to the onboarding wizard, where you set your name, Organisation, first Workspace and, optionally, your first Sites and team invitations.

Accepting a team invitation

If someone has invited you to their Workspace, you receive an email with an invitation link. Follow it, sign in or create your account with the same email address the invitation was sent to, and you are added to the Workspace with the role they assigned. See Accepting an invitation.
