General FAQ

What is Flowpane? A site governance platform for agencies. It observes the public governance artefacts of each client website, scores them with explicit product models, and gives your team one place to see findings, prepare fixes and report to clients. Scores are Flowpane's product models, not legal-compliance certificates.

Who is Flowpane for? Agencies and in-house teams responsible for many websites. Sites are grouped into Workspaces, so an agency typically runs one Workspace per client.

What does Flowpane check? Eight artefact types: robots.txt, ads.txt, security.txt, llms.txt, ai.txt, humans.txt, Cookies & Consent and XML sitemaps. See Governance checks.

How is Flowpane different from an SEO plugin such as Yoast? An SEO plugin manages one WordPress site from the inside. Flowpane observes any site from the outside, on any platform, and compares many sites side by side. The two complement each other.

Does Flowpane modify my website? Governance checks observe public evidence. Preparing a draft does not itself change your website. Joomla and WordPress integrations are available in supported environments; any management action depends on the connected Site's available capabilities and an explicit action in Flowpane. Check the Site's integration and management status before proceeding.

Which platforms are supported? Any publicly reachable website. Flowpane detects common platforms such as WordPress, Shopify and Joomla to tailor guidance, but detection is not required for checks to run.

Where do I get help? Browse this documentation, or email support@flowpane.com. Pro and higher plans can also raise tickets from the Support page inside the application. See Support.
