Adding sites

Sites are added from the Workspace dashboard. Adding requires the Editor or Admin role.

One site

1. Open your Workspace dashboard.
2. Click + Add Site(s) at the top right.
3. On the Single tab, enter the domain or URL, for example example.com or https://example.com.
4. Press Enter or click Add.

Flowpane normalises the URL, resolves the canonical origin (for example following http to https and example.com to www.example.com), and detects a display name from the domain. Names, platform and other metadata are confirmed on the first visit to the Site. See Site metadata.

Several sites

Switch to the Batch paste tab and paste domains one per line. Flowpane shows a live preview of how many will be added, how many lines are invalid, how many duplicates were removed and how many are already in the Workspace. Batch paste suits up to about ten Sites; for more, or to supply names and details, use CSV import.

The Import CSV tab opens the CSV importer, which is also available as a full page. See Batch import.

URL requirements

• The site must be publicly reachable over HTTPS.
• Enter the homepage. Flowpane resolves the origin itself.
• Subdomains are separate Sites: shop.example.com and www.example.com are two entries.

After adding

Each new Site starts in the Pending state until you verify ownership. See Site verification.

Plan limits

The dashboard shows how many of your Sites you have used. At the limit the add button is disabled and links to the Billing page. Batch and CSV additions that would exceed the limit add as many Sites as the plan allows and tell you how many were skipped.
