Check scheduling
The first check
Every plan, including Free, includes one automatic first-check opportunity after verification. Check the status shown in Flowpane; Waiting to start or Needs attention does not promise a completion time. You can run a check manually if you need a result.
Recurring checks
After the first run, the recurring interval comes from your plan:
| Plan | Automatic checks |
|---|---|
| Free | None. Run checks manually. |
| Starter | Weekly |
| Pro | Daily |
| Scale | Every 12 hours |
| Agency | Every 6 hours |
| Enterprise | Hourly |
The interval applies to every Site in the Organisation. There is no per-Site or per-Workspace override; the Monitoring page in Site settings shows the interval that applies. Crawls (Deep Scan) are never scheduled automatically.
Manual checks
Editors and Admins can run a check at any time with Run all checks in the Site header, the Run checks action on a row in the Sites list, or the play button on an individual artefact card. Manual checks are attributed to the person who ran them.
Backoff after failures
If Flowpane cannot fetch a Site repeatedly, it does not remove the Site from the schedule. It holds automatic checks back for a growing interval:
| Consecutive failures | Next automatic check after |
|---|---|
| 1 | 24 hours |
| 2 | 72 hours |
| 3–4 | 3 days |
| 5–6 | 7 days |
| 7–9 | 14 days |
| 10 or more | 30 days |
Once two failures have occurred, the Sites list shows an Auto-checks paused badge with an explanation. Running a manual check resets the failure count and clears the hold immediately, whether or not it succeeds, so after fixing a firewall or DNS problem you can resume normal scheduling straight away.
