Sitemaps & Crawl
The Sitemap Workbench combines sitemap measurement, exploration, crawl evidence, freshness, coverage, URL overrides, generation and history for one Site. Open it from the Sitemaps tab on the Site page. Its measurement is stored within the Site's governance Run, so the sitemap score you see here is the same one that feeds the Site score.
Current surfaces
- Overview and Explorer — what the public sitemap set declares and how it scored
- Deep Scan — what a bounded crawl observed on the public site (Starter and above)
- Freshness and Coverage — timestamp trust, and the gap between declared and crawled URLs
- Editor and History — persisted overrides, generation, and prior runs
Generated sitemap deployment is available to Publishers and Admins, only when deployment credentials are configured for the Site. The Plans page lists it from Scale upwards. It does not enable publishing for the six fixed governance text files. Joomla and WordPress connections are supported in reviewed environments; access and management depend on the Site entitlement and current capabilities. See Extensions Hub.
