Batch import

The CSV importer adds many Sites in one go and lets you supply names and details alongside each URL. Open it from the Import CSV tab of the Add Site(s) dialog, or as a full page at Sites → Import.

Preparing the file

  • Download the CSV template or the example CSV from the importer to see the expected columns.
  • The importer looks for a column named url, domain, website or site; if none is found it uses the first column.
  • Only .csv files are accepted, up to 2 MiB. JSON is not supported.

Importing

  1. Drag the file onto the drop zone, click Choose file, or click Paste CSV instead and paste the rows.
  2. Review the parsed rows. Each is marked Valid, Duplicate (already in the file or already in the Workspace) or with an error explaining why it cannot be added. Use the filter to show only one kind.
  3. Click the import button. Flowpane adds the valid rows and reports how many were created, skipped as duplicates or failed.

Imported Sites start in the Pending state. Use Verify all on the dashboard to verify them in one pass. See Site verification.

Imports respect your plan's Site limit. If the file has more valid rows than you have room for, Flowpane adds as many as it can and tells you how many were skipped.
