Agency setup guide
This guide walks through setting up Flowpane for an agency managing multiple client websites.
Recommended structure
- One Organisation for your agency. It holds the plan and billing.
- One Workspace per client, or per client group. Members and roles are set per Workspace, so a client contact can be given Viewer access to their own Workspace only.
- Sites within each Workspace.
- On Agency and Enterprise, Child Organisations for offices or business units that should be kept apart. See Child Organisations.
Onboarding workflow
- Create your account and Organisation.
- Create the first Workspace for your largest client.
- Import that client's Sites from a CSV file. See Batch import.
- Verify them in one pass with Verify all. DNS TXT verification is the least likely to be blocked by a client's firewall.
- Invite your team with the appropriate roles, and the client as a Viewer if they want to see results directly.
- Let the first automatic run complete, then review the dashboard and the Needs attention section on each Site.
- Repeat for each client Workspace.
Tips
- Use tags to categorise Sites, for example "priority", "redesign" or "ecommerce".
- Pin the Workspaces and Sites you work with most.
- Set each Site's capabilities in Site settings so ads.txt, cookies and security.txt are treated as required only where they should be.
- Generate a governance report per Site for client reviews. On Agency and Enterprise, white-label it with your own logo.
- The Agency plan allows 100 Sites, 15 Workspaces and unlimited members, with checks every 6 hours. See Plan comparison.
