Getting Started
This guide walks you through setting up Flowpane from scratch. By the end, you will have your first Site added and verified, your first governance check complete, and a clear understanding of the Site score.
Before you begin
You will need:
- an email address for your Flowpane account
- at least one website URL you want to monitor
- a site that is publicly accessible; Flowpane fetches files over HTTPS as a public visitor
Steps
- Create your account — sign up with a magic link or an email and password.
- Onboarding walkthrough — the six onboarding screens: your name, Organisation, Workspace, Sites, team invitations and activation.
- Add your first site — enter a URL, verify ownership and confirm the detected metadata.
- Understand your dashboard — the Sites list, filters, bulk actions and recent runs.
- Run your first check — how checks start and what they do across the eight artefact types.
- Read your governance score — the 100-point scores, the colour bands and the finding types.
What happens next
Once your first check is complete, you can:
- open each artefact's Workbench to see findings and prepare fixes
- add more Sites individually or by batch import
- invite team members to collaborate
- run a Deep Scan in the Sitemap Workbench for deeper URL analysis
- generate a governance report to share with a client
